The most famous Tempranillo based wines in Spain come from the moderate climate region of Rioja DOCa in North-East Spain. So, you can see why pairing this wine with flavors from Spain or Mexico would be perfect. The spice in the wine will complement the spice of the cuisine.

Cedar and tobacco on the nose. Dark red fruit, vanilla, and nutmeg, medium bodied. TX.
